✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
It has been a busy week for us. Below are some of things the team have been getting up to.
The team arrested a prolific shoplifter on 17/04/26 who was wanted for 17 thefts and 16 breaches of court bail.
The team also arrested and charged a male (following a footchase whilst theft was in progress from Morrisons) for 19 thefts.
4x stop searches were carried out in West Park with 2x cannabis located. A drugs appointment has been set up for both.
A male was arrested for breaching a court order yesterday.
The team also recovered a stolen car thanks to community intelligence.
On 15/04/26 we held a police surgery at Bantock House Cafe. We spoke to local residents and offered advice. We hold these meetings monthly so please look out for our next date.
We marked 20 bikes on 16/04/26 our bike marking event at St Chad and St Marks Church, Lime Street. If any of these bikes get lost or stolen they will be scanned and returned to their owners. We will be running some more bike marking events in the future.
